Clinical study of Dapoxetine
In this clinical trial, about 2,600 men with moderate to severe ejaculation problems were included. On an average, these men ejaculated in less than a minute after penetration during sexual activity. These men were grouped and given either 60 mg dosage of Dapoxetine, 30 mg dosage of Dapoxetine, and placebo. Scientists observed these men for a period of 12 weeks. After the completion of this period, they observed the results that showed men who took placebo extended the time of ejaculation by one minute and 45 seconds. Men who took 30 mg dosage of Dapoxetine experienced delay in ejaculation time by two minutes and 47 seconds and men who took 60 mg dosage of Dapoxetine delayed ejaculation time by about three minutes and 19 seconds. Scientists also observed some of the additional benefits among men who took dosages of Dapoxetine. In those men, there was a visible improvement in their perception of control over ejaculation, satisfying sexual intercourse, and in premature ejaculation condition. Dapoxetine is not a sex enhancer.
